Reflecting on my nephew Stone’s birth I wanted to build something playful for him and the next generations to come.

The desk-stool typology was born from explorations in flexible learning for elementary school students.

Storks break the grid of any space they land in, bringing warmth and play with them. Storks can flock together to create casual workspaces in cafés, schools, offices or homes. Two sizes were developed, one for kids and another for adults.

Stork is a family of birdlike seats that flock together to create casual workspaces and playful landscapes; reflecting a childlike wonder and fascination with birds, nature, and limitless imagination.

Kakishibu is an all-natural persimmon tannin dye produced and perfected in Japan since the 13th century.

The Kakishibu collection tells and revives the story of traditional persimmon dyeing through light, sculpture, and art; utilizing the astringent persimmon’s magical properties of strength, natural color, and water repellence to paint warm rich atmospheres with light.

The oldest surviving rock-cut caves in India. The mirror-finish caves are believed to have been used for meditation and reciting mantras by ascetics.

Their impossibly precise geometry and 'mauryan’ polish are still a living mystery.

I drew upon the contemplative atmosphere of the Barabar caves and the wisdom within its uncompromising geometry.

the art of lost wax

The tradition of lost-wax casting in India dates back to 2500 BCE.

Chola-dynasty bronze originated in South India in the 9th century. The processes, tools, and formulas have all remained the same in an effort to preserve the ancient knowledge and cultural identity.

The insect collection stems from personal encounters where fear turned to fascination during my travels in South and Southeast Asia. Unlike the west, the east praise insects, seeing the kami (or spirit) in all things and finding beauty in their shapes, color and sounds.

Krishna’s nomadic adventures across India and Southeast Asia from 2024 to 2025 were the inception for Visva.

The objects I develop for Visva are born from insights and fragments of life that I wish to share. The act of making is precious; to collaborate with naturally gifted, unknown craftsmen from the most biodiverse parts of the globe.
